Acts of Kindness is theatrical Montage inspired by interviews in El Paso, Texas after a mass shooting at a Walmart, which claimed the lives of twenty-three innocent people. Told through a multitude of characters and documentary information, the play grapples with gun control, the divided political landscape, and the issue of immigration in the U.S. Heartfelt, engrossing, and intimate, the play is a tribute to the victims and survivors of the event, and a cautionary tale about gun violence in America. Against the most tragic of events, a community reaches for collective healing and an understanding of our shared humanity.
