Students cast in shows must enroll in fall OPERA WORKSHOP - M,W, F 4:05-6:05.
During this time, cast will learn the music to the show.
Staging will begin spring semester 2026, M, W, F 4:05pm-6:05pm up to spring break.
After Spring break rehearsals will continue M-F 6:00pm-10:30pm (with some Saturdays)
Tech and Dress dates: Friday March 20 6:00pm-11:00pm, Saturday March 21 11:00am-10:00pm, Monday March 23 6:00-11:00pm, Tuesday, March 24 6:00-11:00pm, Wednesday March 25 6:00-11:00pm, Thursday March 26 6:00-11:00 (invited dress performance 7:30pm)
Audition dates: September 9 and 10, 6:00-10:30pm
Please prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo AND 16 bars of a ballad in the style of Sondheim. Approximately 30-45 seconds per number, please. BRING YOUR OWN SHEET MUSIC. AN ACCOMPANIST WILL BE PROVIDED.
No singing to tracks please.
Audition numbers can be (but do not have to be) from other Sondheim musicals, but not from
INTO THE WOODS.
Callbacks: September 11, 6:00-10:30
Music and sides will be provided at callbacks.
Optional: You can practice audition material with accompanist on Friday Sept 5, 4:05-5:50 Watchorn 103.

An intellectual and pleasant storyteller who helps to orchestrate the show and illustrate lessons to the audience.
